We continue our practice of conditioning our consciousness so that we create the Christ consciousness in ourselves this month with the Prayer of Faith by Hannah More Kohaus.
Myrtle Fillmore felt that all children would benefit from the memorization and study of the prayer.
we've been told to become like children so lets take the advise and use this prayer in our meditation time this month.
Here are Myrtle's thoughts on the subject.
The Teaching of Children
Humanity is coming intellectually to recognize and claim an omnipresent God. But the individual concept of the omnipresence of God does not enable man to make practical use of his great light. The understanding and realization of God being the very mind and life and substance of man's earthly existence must be as much a part of man's consciousness as are the human relationships.
We must learn to know that God is spirit and that his spirit within us is a motive power which carries us forward in every department of our daily living. Children should be taught that God is spirit and that the purpose of their being is to express God. They should be trained in the faith and understanding which makes them to know that they express the spirit of God in their every thought and desire and action.
The child's mind accords perfectly with true ideas and it is easy to rear children in conscious unity with God when they are encouraged through their faith to claim their sonship. Teach them to pray this prayer of faith:
God is my help in every need;
God does my every hunger feed;
God walks beside me, guides my way
Through every moment of the day.
I now am wise, I now am true,
Patient, kind, and loving, too;
All things I am, can do, and be,
Through Christ the Truth, that is in me.
God is my health, I can't be sick;
God is my strength, unfailing, quick;
God is my all, I know no fear,
Since God and Love and Truth are here.
Amen.
I look forward to hearing how you use this to bless your life and others this week.
Have a wonder filled week.
Love
John

How can we be Radiant Centers of Love & Light in the world?
One way is to forgive those who "trespass" against us.
What does trespass mean to you?
1.enter the owner's land or property without permission.
"there is no excuse for trespassing on railroad property"
2.Archaic literary:
commit an offense against (a person or a set of rules).
"a man who had trespassed against Judaic law"
synonyms:sin, transgress, offend, do wrong, err, go astray, fall from grace, stray from the straight and narrow"he would be the last among us to trespass"
To be love in the world we need to be able to forgive those who Offend, Do Wrong against us.
Are you able to do that today?
Have some fun with the idea.
Love John
Rough Cut of John's talk inspiring us to become a Radiant Center of Light & Love in 2018.
Enjoy.
This late-1920s recording is a beautiful example of Charles Fillmore preaching the Power of Positive Thinking decades before the phrase was even invented. In thirty-three seconds, Fillmore encourages his listeners to greet the New Year with faith and optimism:
“The joy of the Lord be unto you. You should begin the New Year with great enthusiasm, because you know the Truth. Forget the things that are past. Rejoice in the opportunities of the present. Many blessings are yours. Pile up those blessings in your consciousness, and they will multiply and increase until your joy will be full. God bless and keep you always.”

Let’s explore Love together.
How do you perceive God’s love for you?
Do you feel you need to earn it?
Do you wonder if God’s love is meant for you?
Do you see the overflow of God’s love in your own life toward others?
How will you manifest Love this week?
“Little children, let us not love with word or
with tongue, but in deed and truth”
(1 John 3:18).
Let’s explore peace together.
Philippians 4:6–7 tells us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you,” He told His disciples. “I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27).
How will you manifest Peace this week?
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you” (Isaiah 26:3).
The first Sunday of Advent is the a day of Faith & Hope.
The word advent is a version of a Latin term which means “coming.” So we use these weeks leading up to Christmas as a chance to look forward to our celebration of the arrival of Jesus, our Christ Consciousness, and the light of the world.
How can we purposefully live this season of anticipation in light of hope?
I’d like to suggest it starts with acknowledging the darkness around us, embracing the wait, and committing to the journey.
Here are some quotes to contemplate this week:
Faith is the highest expression of belief or confidence
(ASP 74).
The idea that faith is something that has to do only with one's religious experience is incorrect. Faith is a faculty of the mind that finds its most perfect expression in the spiritual nature, but in order to bring out one's whole character it should be developed in all its phases (CH 85).
It is when faith is exercised deep in spiritual consciousness that it finds its right place, and under divine law, without variation or disappointment, it brings results that are seemingly miraculous (CH 87).
The power to see in Spirit is peculiar to faith. In its outer expression this power is sight; interiorly it is that which perceives the reality of the substance of Spirit (CH 89).
Anyone who has faith in Spirit and the power of the word spoken in faith can send it forth, and like the radio oscillation, it will be picked up by receptive minds everywhere (ASP 55).
You make it Special.
THE CHOICE IS MINE

We continue our study of Imelda Shanklin's "What Are You?" with Rev. John Zenkewich
Consciousness is direct knowledge or perception of an object, state, or sensation.
The things of which you most commonly and most ardently think become your consciousness. Because this is true, you are responsible for what you have about you. Do you know the character of your consciousness? If your group of material thoughts and your group of spiritual thoughts should instantly take on three-dimensional form and stand before you, which group would be the stronger? In which group would your thoughts of life be found? Where do you think your thoughts of finance would appear? In which association should you look, were you to search for your health thoughts? With which array would you find your conceptions of love? Examine your two groups; you can determine without the aid of a seer whether your predominating consciousness is spiritual or material. Knowing which group prevails, frequently remind yourself that your consciousness is your life. This will keep you alert to the need of construction or reconstruction, in accordance with the chosen aim of your life.
If your consciousness seems to be balanced between spirituality and materiality, watch your reaction when a crisis occurs. If at the crisis your thought leaps to God as your deliverer, you are building a consciousness that will be so highly protective that it will disperse the assault against you before assault can be organized.
In this episode we discuss our Miniseries Reel Spirit, where we looked at the summer blockbuster movies, Terminator Genisys, Ant Man and Fantastic Four.
We continue our study of Catherine Ponder's The Prospering Power of Prayer and look at Chapter 5 Prayer in Pictures.
Here is a preview of some of the ideas we will discuss this weekend:
You can picture a thing and bring it through
Rather than trying to reason it through or force it through.
You can hasten your good through picturing!
Results have to be planned.
Prosperity is a planned result.
When we visualize with the help of a Wheel of Fortune
We are really praying and imaging our good;
We are changing the current of our thinking
From negative to positive,
From despair to hope,
From discouragement to encouragement.
Keep quiet about what you are picturing,
so that you will not talk your good away.
Episode 12
Easter symbolizes the final overcoming in the Bible story of man's journey into light. It represents the triumph of Spiritual Consciousness over the last Outer Intimidation of man.
An adequate faith in your own ability and distinctive individuality, coupled with your faith in God, gives you strength to face life “square on”, and not retreat. You do have “what it takes”! God has built it into your inmost being. Go forth in confidence now, to claim the good new things that await you as an unbound, fearless child of God with whom all things are possible!”
On Easter Sunday when greeted with:
“Christ has Risen!” respond “Surely Christ has Risen in You!”
and know
All things are possible!
This is from our lesson where we discussed how our thoughts create our experience in the world and how we can influence our thinking.
